It depends on the city really... i go to hot topic just to waste time... and sometimes ive seen venom, bathory, mayhem, death, emperor, immortal, this behemoth shirt, morbid angel... etc...

Interesting We just have Metallica, Slayer, Misfits for most part here. Maybe black/death metal is much more popular south of the border.

So they were probably deadstock. But nothing to worry about... i mean i wouldve been worried if i saw absu or averse sefira shirts there!

Well Hot Topic is an alternative cloth store after all. So I dont think its such a big deal. When these shirts show up in Walmart & alikes. Thats when we can call it a day.

When i was 14 or 15 i was terrified of extreme metal going mainstream... and then i went to walmart in the states and saw dimmu and cradle cds there :)

same here...late 90's being underground was everything to me. But I never experienced CoF & DB at Walmart. Not here. After the internet explosion everything more or less went mainstream. Its just a matter of google now.

Yeah... its a shame... i guess we will have to live with it... but its weird when kids say " my favorite bands are iron maiden, disturbed, slipknot and behemoth" wtf?!

And about seeing them in wal mart i guess its a matter of the city you are living. I saw dimmu and cradle ( special wal mart editions i believe) in boston, houston and san antonio! :(

Its probably due to the latest trend of celebreties and alike wearing metal shirts. It will pass. I see so many ladies with Metallica shirt nowadays...but I got a hinch they are not Metalheads. The make up and rest of clothes gives them away. Kids will not get involved really. Tsgirts are tok expensive & most concerts are 19+. Maybe only a hadful of kids will listen and stick to it.

Damn they got to Joy Division as well. I think Misfits is another victim. At least when this is over, the real fans will be able to buy these shirts for 2-3 $.
