Ulver - Nattens Madrigal (first press) vinyl LP.
*Because of the fact that I have sold most of my very sought-after first press records, I've decided to re-upload some of my favorites (or at least more notable) albums that I still have from when I first started uploading vinyl to this site. I decided to leave the original uploads as they are, for memories. These are some of the records that I still have, but uploaded album by album, for more intricate and detailed shots.*
My second favorite album of all time. Only closely trailing behind the original Under the Sign of Hell from Gorgoroth. Words cannot describe what a beautiful album I feel this is, even with it's "ugly" and raw production. This is the beauty in ugly. The melody-laced riffs sooth and take you away into a really intriguing journey and world. Eight hymns to the wolf in man!!!
I think this is so close to my love for Under the Sign of Hell that it might as well be a tie... yeah, let's go with that. A close... close, tie.

Still need to get this one and I'll have the whole "Norse trillogy", albeit on cd....
I my opinion this is one of Ulver's weaker outputs, even taking in consideration their newer stuff. I don't know. I just don't seem to get what other people are getting from this album.

Great album indeed! I listen to Nattens Madrigal very rarely, but for some reason I feel strong urge to listen to this album from time to time.
