Legendary punk record! Richard Hell was actually just in town with Thurston Moore of a Sonic Youth
gloriousdeath

joecubbie
Nah I was sick. Lol believe me, if I did, it would be in actionshots
gloriousdeath
too bad... hope you're feeling better...
joecubbie
Yeah and it was all ages too but it was announced literally a week before it happened haha. I'm probably not gonna go to any more shows until the summer when I go to like 2-3 every week haha.
gloriousdeath
ah, saving up money for tickets.... sometimes there's just too much gigs to see them all.. this tuesday i'm going to see John Mayall; looking forward to that !!!

Awesome!!!! One of the greatest guitarists ever and unsung as well. Have fun!!! Me and my friend Nick are saving up to go to a festival about 2 hours away called Rock USA. It's 4 days long and we were gonna go the whole weekend last year (until Nick called his mom a bitch for some reason and she didn't let us go at all). And I could strangle him for that considering the lineup (Van Halen, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Anthrax, Queensrÿche, Jackyl, Dokken, Great White, Slaughter, A7X, Buckcherry...the list goes on). This year it looks like the headliners will be 5FDP, Kid Rock, GN'R, and AC/DC. Also, Halestorm accidentally announced they're playing Friday and Slayer on Wednesday. The craziest part? Tickets for all four days are $60. And THAT is why I was pissed the most for not going last year.

That sounds good.... damn, i would pay $ 60 for AC/DC alone..... hope your buddy doesn't mess up things again haha.... or is his mom really a bitch haha... she must be a oneas she spoiled it for you too.....

Lol well the lineup gets announced Monday (after months of waiting) so we shall soon see. It's crazy because of all of the rock festivals here in America, they're the smallest one yet they had the biggest lineup last year (it was Van Halen's only US show of the year, Twisted Sister's only US show of the summer, Anthrax's only US show of the summer, Godsmack's only show before going on an indefinite hiatus which they technically were already on, and A7X's first show of the year).
