I don't know man. I love throwbacks as much as the next guy but when the worship of one single band becomes this blatant it just seems silly.
Kind of nifty how they divided the sides with the "Side 6" and "Side 66" thing though.

I love those "tribute" releases ... since imo most of the bands haven't released good albums for ages I am really happy I can listen stuff like this haha. Even it is a second Show no Mercy or Leprosy or whatever. Not the same songs, but the vibe is the same. Not a big fan of those modern sounds ( there are sometimes releases I like and bands I love: Mastodon haha, but mostly not ), perfer more the old school sound of the late 80s/early 90s.

Personally I just find them pointless. If I want to listen to Show no mercy I'll just go ahead and do that. To hear a band try it's damnedest to duplicate that album in every aspect seems so superficial.

If I want to listen to Show No Mercy, I also listen to Show No Mercy. Son't think they dublicate the album in every aspect. They have their own songs, they just sound like they could have been released on Show No Mercy.
But hey ... tastes are different and that's good hehe ... cheers :)
