According to him 95% of those are trades, he bought swedish singles en masse when they were cheap and later traded them to international contacts.
Just as examples (all first presses of course): White Goat, Yellow Goat,Flames of Hell, Street Child, Messiah, Emerald, Graven Image, Legend, Gotham City, .... it is fucking m.e.n.t.a.l.

Haha, well in the end I guess the record collector world isn't that big, atleast for underground metal. He's mostly into US metal though which is of no interest to me.

Yeah, You are probably right with that, i never was part of that "inner circle" of collectors so to speak, just traded here and there, but mostly bought from private sellers.
He is, which is of immense interest to me, hahaha

Yeah he paid a lot for some of those records. No judgement though, I spend a ton of money on records myself. I just spread my budget over many less rare records, he prefers a smaller collection with some ultra-rarities.
Don't know if there's such a thing as an 'inner circle'. I tend to keep a low profile but after all those years you get to meet, or atleast hear others talk about, a lot of the people with serious collections.

I had this edition but I gave to a friend because I have an original first press swedish (white goat) LP. But as I see nowadays this also rare item...

Yes, it's not as pricey as the Black Mark pressings though. The later reissues got the fucked up remaster as well as a slightly different goat on the cover, so I'm glad to own this! The firstpress vinyls are way too pricey for me!
