Avalanche/Cratia(KOR) "split" LP
An interesting South Korean metal release, Avalanche was one of the first thrash metal bands in Korea, heavily and I mean HEAVILY influenced by 80's Slayer and early Metallica, not entirely original. Cratia on the other side played some mainstream hard rock hair metal.

Yes and I would be really amazed if there were any metal bands from North Korea at that time. Even here in China we had a few good heavy/hair metal in late 80's early 90's.
Search but don't spend too much on this record though, it has more historical value than music. Avalanche simply re-arranged every famous Slayer/Metallica riffs, with an extremely dry production and totally over the top vocals.
