I asked the seller who bought it from new - he said that it came from an American manufacturer who made these, aswell as some Jethro Tull enamel badges in the 1990s. I don't know if 1995 is exactly correct, but it's the right decade as far as I know.
Thanks for the info ! I had made some research when I saw it pop up on eBay. I then learnt that it was then designed and manufactured by a company called Kreative Concepts LLC. Just went into it in more depth, and it appears the said company was ruled by Jud Patterson, apparently in collaboration with George Underwood who's the original designer of the the debut album cover.
