Hmm i think JP had only some embroidered patches in late 70s era, Because they were unable to produce woven patches, so i genuinely think its somewhere between 80' and 82'

that’s incorrect brother, there’s tons of woven patches from the 70s, they even had them in WW2!
i can assure you this is from 1978.

here are patches from the american vietnamese war acquired in 1973. woven.

a specific country had woven patches on their uniforms in ww2. from the axis powers (🇩🇪).
just trying to share information.
