Oh, he can't stand the "mumble rock" as he calls it, AKA grunge/alternative, especially growing up in the golden era of the '70s and '80s hahaha. Funny enough, he met Scott Weiland once. About 15 years ago, STP played this theater next door to my dad's work. It's small, holds about 1,200ish, and was part of a "warmup" tour to see if they were still a viable draw ahead of the eventual arena run. As my dad was going out on his lunch break, he saw Scott walking into the theater, wearing a hat, gloves, winter coat, and sunglasses. Scott said hi to my dad and my dad said hi back. It was the middle of July and roughly 90 degrees out. Heroin: Not even once.
