Gamma Ray - Headache For Tomorrow - 1990 - German Tour Poster

Best and one of the rarest of all the Gamma Ray posters out there! Now, if I can find the shirt with just the old logo to go along with this. I’m pretty sure I’ve only seen it on a Japanese tour shirt of this era.

Although this isn’t my favorite Gamma Ray album (“Somewhere Out In Space” takes 1st place), in my opinion, “Heading For Tomorrow” was the best album featuring Ralf Scheepers.

What a strange but killer tour package, being that Risk was much more of a Thrash/Speed Metal band than a Power Metal one (even though they do have some Power Metal influences in songs like “Roadwar”, “Rommes Fritz”, and “Russian Nights”). They were known as Faithful Breath before changing their name to Risk. The scene in Germany was also flourishing with Thrash, Speed, and Power Metal which obviously influenced their sound. Thilo Hermann (guitarist from 1989-1990), left after to play in Running Wild from 1994-2000. Later, he had a very brief stint in Grave Digger.
