I was debating for months about posting this on here. However, after posting a number of metal related stuff, I thought posting this now wouldn't hurt. Plus, this is probably the most rarest thing I have in my music collection right now.
Billy Ze Kick is a rock / reggae band from Rennes, France that dates back as far as 1989. Their biggest hit in France is a song called "Mangez-moi" where the song talks about a group of friends on the hunt for certain kinds of mushrooms. In the non-French speaking parts of the world, some people may only know the lead singer (real name Nathalie Cousin) since her cover of "Non Non Rien N'a Changé" was used in the 1997 video game "MDK". The lead singer is also famous in France for wearing a tricorne during the majority of her music career and for looking androgynous in the 90s. This is a very strange and obscure band, but they have honestly became such a huge favourite for me due to their weirdness and unique style.
About the press kit: This promo press kit contains a promo pic, a sticker, and a 35mm slide. The photo was taken by legendary French photographer and music video director 'Jean-Baptiste Mondino' who is most famous for working with musicians such as Madonna and David Bowie. The sticker contains a French phone number. However, I decided to censor it due to privacy reasons, since I'm not sure if the number is still in use or not.
