One day, the Danish gothic metal band Akoma was giving away a poster, and a signed copy of their recent EP "The Other Side" to a few people selected from a bunch of blokes that shared their Facebook page. I was one of three winners whos name was drawn from a hat of candidates. I was amazed, because I'm one of those people who always gets picked last for teams, or never wins anything. I guess the odds weren't that bad anyway judging by the photo showing the papers inside the hat. But still, I'm proud of finally winning something in my life. What's also pretty cool is that they made a picture of their vocalist Tanya Bell holding the paper with my name on it.
chick looks part ginger. hmm...

Yes, her hair seems very red. Inside the EP's booklet, her hair looks even more red. Interesting how the cameras can play with colors sometimes, or maybe it was a little color correction with image editing software.
i wonder what the carpet is like... hmm...

The carpet? It looks like there are wood floors, so you must be talking about... hmm. I hope she doesn't see this.

Haha, thanks! I was surprised with the EP. One might think this band is a Nightwish clone, not to attack that band or it's fans, but to say it's different than a lot of gothic type stuff that I've heard. I found myself really enjoying it while just relaxing.
