So I recently bought an NOS obituary hoodie from 97. It came in in mint condition so I washed it delicately with cold water and Woolite mostly to disinfect it which I do all of my vintage clothes and never had a problem. But when I took the hoodie out the inside of it (I'm assuming the cotton lining) had just disintegrated. It was falling out everywhere and became a fine powder. Is this dry rot and has anyone else ever come across an issue like this?
