Thanks!! I saw them many times here from 07-10, mostly at Satyricon. For me at the time, it was like seeing early Bathory live, no other thrash band did it quite so raw!
I'm not familiar with Among the Decayed, Portland band?
Yeah they definitely did have that feel of old school blackened thrash metal. Yeah ATD was a Death/grind band from Portland from 2004-2007 was when they were really active. Goatsoldiers drummer and bassist were members.
Ah I see, makes sense, that was before I was going to shows. I wasn't 21 yet either so it was narrowed down to all ages shows for me, really limits what you can see when you can't get into a bar, haha.
I know Travis their drummer has been in a shit ton of bands over the years.
Yeah, I wasn’t 21 until 2009 but a lot of the shows the band played were at The Satyricon, which as you know was all ages. Yeah Travis and I are good friends, he’s really made a name for himself by working with Kam Lee, Karl Willets, Dave Ingram, Rogga Johansson, etc.

Five flames because nobody knows about this band. The band I miss is freakin' Among The Decayed. Hey that's just me :)
