I would cut of the button border(?) and the collar, but that is just my personal taste. :P I really like the rest, even if I think that jackets just with Black/White patches on them can look a bit boring...if you do it wrong. But it fits to Black Metal and this one looks good so far. In the end you have to know how you want to do it.

I had a simlar problem in the end i cut off the collar but left the buttons coz otherwise i'd have nowhere to hang my Drinking horn xD
