Earlier today Phil Demmel announced that he is leaving vio-lence. He will perform his final show in Brazil.
Honestly, I was looking forward to see the band on their spring tour but now I’m not. How do you guys feel about this?
Was really hoping this reunion would last, and let the world burn was a strong come back. But with Perry and now Phil leaving i dont have high hopes about the future of the band. Glad i managed to see them couple years ago tho
Yeah defo still worth catching, Sean is a vital part of the band and if they ever return to the UK I'll definitely see them again :D Just happy that i got to see Perry play with them as he's a big influence for me
Seen Vio- lence back in August 1988 and bands come and go, this is no different. I like the band, just not caring about the members doing their own thing. Good luck Phil.

Yeah Phil said the timing was weird but he said that has nothing to do with his exit from vio-lence.

So basicly Vio-Lence has once again disintegrated...

Wtf? Aw come on right before the next tour. Was excited for that too lol. Then again Exhorder and Deceased caught my eye more anyway I suppose

Feel the same way man. Usually when someone leaves a band I shrug it off but this one bummed me out.

He's a fantastic guitarist and basically was the best part of the band for me, I hope they find a great replacement and still put on a good show
