I’m confused whether which one is authentic vs boot. Can anyone educate me more? I am pretty sure the licensing does NOT go on the BACK, and is a bootleg, compared to the authentic one being on the FRONT.
I’m speaking about specifically the Burzum EK LS, since it’s a rare shirt and it is prone to bootlegs. I have seen many with it on the front, and maybe 3 with it on the back,
There was not much photos, and I tried to keep the photos transparent since I do not want to affect the guys chance on a sale, being he is very respectable and nice.
But all these are from the supposed boot, plus there is no opening thing on the bottom of the shirt like the supposed authentic ones.
Thanks so much! That really helps clear things up. I had a feeling something was off, and your explanation confirmed it. I’ll definitely be more careful and use this info when checking future items. I have an original longsleeve. Licensing is on the front and definitely NOT on the back.
I don't think it has anything to do with the shirt itself. There are versions printed on shirt with FIEND tag. Longsleeves with FIEND tag most of the time have the so called " wizard" sleeves and this "V" cut at the waist left and right. These were from late 90s I think. They were also printed on the so called EUTOTAG shirts where the longsleeves have cuffs and the waist is normal. But I have Marduk / Mayhem longsleeves from this same period with euro tag and wizard sleeves and V cut at the waist too.
I also have a very rare hoodie version of this design also printed by Razzmatazz but without any licensing info or copyright on the front nor the back. Which has the SPORTS CLUB tag. This is the hoodie brand which was used by RAZZMATAZZ in the early 2000s (before Gildan Heavy cotton). But then the design was ofcourse already very controversial and raised red flags ebveywhere so maybe they didn't want it to be traced back to them and they didn't print any copyright info anymore. I don't know.

i think i DO have shirts with licensing on the back, so i don 't think that's a valid argument

Not enough details, just link to the whole shirt man, there's other info like the sewing style on the neck/cuffs etc

Double stitched collar... Compare it to other shirts of the time

For what it’s worth I have a 1997 venom with the Fiend tag. The tag is properly sewn into the neck and not onto it like the one you posted.
If it seems fishy to you it’s best to steer clear tbh
meaningless
i have an Unleashed LS with this Tag, from ...hm...something between 1998~2002? ....bought and printed in England ...
thats my 2 cents ..haha..
i dont have any knowledge about Burzum shirts...
