I only know about "my" camouflage (it´s the German version from the Bundeswehr) and it´s about 150-200 meters in the woods when the person is standing right before it, in a bush it´s about 5-10 meters official but if the person is in "full-camo" (with painted face, grass on the helmet etc..) it´s difficult at one meter

Yeah, that is the point of camou.
I meant in different kind of vegetation etc.
What pattern of camouflage print suits the most kind of vegetation types worldwide?
I personally wore digital camou, and tbh it is an improvement over the Woodland pattern IMO.

IIRC the pattern you are referring to is called flecktarn btw.
I know, i served two years ;) But in the air force it´s not really interesting how effective the camo is, when we see enemy infantry our infantry didn´t do their jobs well ^^

Yeah lol. But most conscripts dont care enough to know details, like most i served with.
And tbh I still dont understand why most air force personnel wear camouflage lol.
Nice man! I like camo kuttes. I am working on one myself! Its the same style as yours; Bundeswehr issue flecktarn from 1997. Except on mine, i cut the collar off, and all the buttons/zippers off the front then i folded the two sides of the front back so they dont overlap anymore(button style). And i also cut all the pockets off so i can cover it entirely in patches! I also have flecktarn sheet canvas and i want to cut it into a liner for my vest so i can put inner pockets and such.
Sick vest man!
Thanks! Mine is from 1992 and have an inner pocket with velcro (don´t know why they changed that on the later versions) where i put my money and other stuff i don´t want to lose. I´m thinking about to cut the pockets on the outside and putting one inside.

Nice patches, but I don't dig the camo
Actually how effective are the various kinds of camou in various environments?
Anyone know enough to comment?
