I've been collecting patches since I was 14 or 15. Some patches were bought in Manhattan before those shops closed down, some were given to me as presents, and some were ordered on Ebay from various countries. The vest itself, the AC/DC - Blow Up Your Video backpatch, and the Overkill - logo patch was a present from an ex-female friend of mine. Some patches are homemade i.e the Testament and Badlands logo patches. I take two pieces of printing paper, print out the logo and size of the logo that fits my fancy. Then I line the blank piece of paper with the logo paper, cut off a fair amount of white cloth to reduce the risk of a paper jam, duck tape the sides of the cloth onto the paper, put the cloth paper into the paper slot, print out the logo I want on the cloth and...TADA. The quality of the patches are good, but not great. I also use clear duck tape to conceal the patch from high risk of water damage. Oh, and if any of you disagree with the bands I enjoy and present on my vest...FUCK YOU!
