My first kutte, some potentially controversial entries on here but it's quite varied and I'm proud of each and every patch, I didn't have a design plan at first and went with whatever I was feeling at the time. The only design-conscious segment would be the front where all prog/power patches are to the left and all death metal patches to the right, the Bloodbath patch didn't print out quite right which is a shame. Ignore those stars on my bed sheet lol.

Thanks man! I didn't print those myself, most of the patches in front are from mad patcher, I've heard about how these patches fade out after a while but I've sprayed some protective coating on them, hopefully they should last longer, its been 3 or so months and no sign of fading has occured :)

I have to say I dig a lot of those bands, and really you should never let people tell you what to put on/ not put on your vest. it'y YOURS and nobody elses. It looks great and the fact that you made a bunch of those is sick!

Also that's the only, and best dream theater back patch I've ever seen. I feel lucky that I got to see them on their last tour with Mike. My fvorite drummer.

Thanks dude! Yea same here, a shame Mike isn't in DT anymore. That particular back patch took a month and a half to arrive, custom printed in South America haha, I must say the quality is really good! I didn't make these patches, most of the front patches are from mad patcher, from which I've heard fade pretty quickly, I've sprayed protective coating over them, hopefully they'll hold, its been 3 months and they're still alright. I have many spare patches so if need be I can alter my kutte.

love the back very much, but the front is too neat and clean for my taste, and i prefer embroidered patches than sceened, but nice work nonetheless

Hahah man your Kamelot patch arrived?
I still don't have mine, nor the SymX patch, but hey I'll pick one up eventually.
Looking good, I reckon the front would look good with some badges and/or studs, which go well on lighter kuttes (kutten?) IMO.

yeah about half of it is printed. Most on the front except for two are printed, but the back is about 50/50.

I'm thinking of redoing the entire front section to make it more varied genre wise and design wise, I've got a couple of really nice embroidered patches I really don't want to go to waste, ordered a couple more patches and I'll see what I can do with it, I'll upload it once I've made the changes.

dude. I painted something on a hoodie with acrylic paint. would such a spray work to prevent it from peeling as well? or should i just use nail polish, like i always have.

I just looked that up on google and the spray and the acrylic paint both have UV resisting functions, but if nail polish does you fine then you might as well just stick to it.

Hey thanks man, I have since redone the entire front and part of the back on this vest, all but 2 of my printed patches on the front have been replaced by woven or embroidered ones. There is some very slight wear on those already but it's noticeable if you examine closely, so with the spray it has held up reasonably well for almost 2 years.

My Rush backpatch isn't custom made, but it's rather rare. It's actually embroidered and it cost me like $40 with shipping from Argentina! lol It's freaking awesome, I will upload it soon when I have more patches sewn on.

Is it by any chance the "A Farewell to Kings" back patch? I looked it up online and that was the only result I got, oh yea definitely rare as far as I know. My DT back patch was also from South America, but it's not official, it's the only DT back patch in existence as far as I know but I consider myself really lucky to have found it! Looking forward to your vest man.
