Yeah, if they are overcrowded it's not symetrical and they look randomly placed usually and there is a mind-fuck of colors lol. I just got a Infinite Translation patch online which I think would look perfect on the Megadeth one. I also have an awesome Metalucifer patch to go under the Hirax one.
Good idea! Though I haven't seen many of them. If I can find an "On the Seventh Day" patch, I will definitely put it on my upcoming death metal/evil thrash jacket. I have all the patches bought for this jacket.... just need to get them sewn on then I will post an updated picture. I have Sodom, Acid Witch, Bio-Cancer, Iron Maiden, Infinite Translation, Metalucifer, etc.
Thanks! Already have the final patches to fill my jacket... just a matter of having the time to sew them on. Will definitely post a pic when it's done!
I catch them either before a show or after. You have to be persistent... know the entrances and exits... talk to the merch salesperson and find out where they are at. Luckily most bands in Florida play in little bars so it's easy to get them before or after a show. If it's Anthrax for example, they play in those venues with bodyguards and railings so it's nearly impossible to meet them. Concerts are so much better and intimate in the bar setting.

You can get official logo patches from Paul Speckmann via Facebook.

I will most likely get one from him once I start working on my other jacket... but I do prefer patches of artwork rather than just the logo.

That sounds pretty awesome. That's why I would prefer little gigs than huge set- up concerts by big and famous bands. I feel ya
