Welcome to the end of my longest journey so far.
The search for some of these patches took me many years - in the meantime I had almost given up hope of ever finding some of them. The Holy Grail and the biggest challenge was getting my hands on the “Hail to England” backpatch - all hail to Jeff for this mighty and epic piece of Heavy Metal history, I’m still grateful!
This vest wasn’t meant to compete with my first one, the “Defender of Steel”, which I’ve been wearing with love and enthusiasm for some years now.

Rather, it was meant to complement my first vest. Old-school layout on a vintage Levis jacket, all patches from the ’70s and ’80s, with a collar and functional pockets, studs, buttons and pins. Featuring all the bands that have influenced me since my youth and laid the foundation for my love of Heavy Metal.
Last year’s April, I sewed on the last patch, just in time to break it in at the Keep It True Festival. A worthy and fitting event again imho, as it doesn’t get more old school than this. I’ve been wearing this vest with pride ever since.
May I present to you - The Rocker.
