Midnight Greasy old rag

Haven't posted an update of this one for a while...
Backpatch gets more and more fucked up, I've had to glue so much of it down and repaint various bits of it. A chunk of it got ripped off as you can see.
Added more studs (still in progress). Replaced the DIY Repulsion patch with embroidered one, also replaced the NDT patch, same design but without the smudged print (my friend donated her patch as she doesnt like the band so much). Lost SO many pins in various pits.
Thick layer of shine and grime all over this now.

The replacement NDT patch is severely lacking that shine :( on the old one the print had gone slightly brown.

but that shine! mine dont shine (well except for the studs)..
i likr my jackets, but they really lack the wear that gives them character. i dont reallyl ive that interesting of a life, so they only see gigs like once a month, on top of that i have 4 jackets, which means they get worn only about a quarter of the time.
mostly wearing the japanese punk vest these days though.
i did paint 2 new logos on it this week, and now i suddenly see that the old ones wherent that white anymore. ;)

putting new patches on something thats alreade old an worn does indeed look odd. i had it with my pants too.

Cheers! They are so good aye. I guess the printing was pretty blurry on the old one, it was more a white smudge than anything so i can understand how you overlooked it :p

The backpatch is actually getting better and better, the more it falls apart. Fits the motive well, when some parts are totally ripped down.

Haha cheers! Your patches are much better quality than most of mine so yours will probably take a little more time to get as fucked and rotten, but keep on at it :p sleeping in it in various dirty locations seems to help.
I actually started to make a replacement backpatch on less shitty fabric... then got bored half way through, glad I kept this one now.

Thank you! No real updates to this one, just the backpatch is even more fucked up and rotten! This vest actually grew mould in the last place I was living in, so it's a little less filthy looking where I had to scrub the mould off.

I guess it has reached the state of never ending mending? Clothes (and shoes as well!) are always best at that special point in time when they're in a super broken in, almost sorry, state. Mmm, mould! Mirrors the "Unholy and Rotten" well. :)
I have my old leather jacket and vest in the cellar but should probably move them from there. Well, I hope to see a recent picture of this vest sometime. But there's more in life than the internet.
