Metalitzi on
I like that Fuck Me, Jesus! Patch. Although I can't stand selling vests on ebay.
vomitoxic on
on ebay there's like shitload of black-metal-leather-vests on sale, some dudes just make them to sell them btw i have that " coming soon to a church near you burzum " patch :D
Rover133 on
Not sure I would wear something made by someone else for someone else. But do not mind the thought of buying it for the patches that were sewn on it. I would consider buying a vintage one, but not really a new one.

that is mighty awsome...oi!

I don't like him, he's rude. haha. But seriously, a big part of making a kutte is the satisfaction you get from knowing you did all the work yourself.

typo...it should say vest

In todays instant result market, this would be a nice vest if your realy want it. however making your kutte is a sort of coming of age ritual.
you start getting restless thinking: "I want one of those cool vests the big guys have" and you start to carefully collect patches, pathes of bands that you think are just the shit. with great care you buy a denim jacket and without much consideration about what your mother would think you rip of the sleeves..
you start sewing on patches and adding spikes, chains, jokes and tributes. in the end its about utillity so you add bottle opener and leave space for cigarettes or other tobacco
it's your flagship... a kutte tells about who you are and where you have been.
You can buy a battle jacket off ebay...but would they have poured their soul into it as you would have?

Classic!
"Denim & Leather they go together. It was you that set the spirit free..."

!!! My inside pockets are where I keep my tabaco.
I havent added a cap removed yet since most are screw off. I need to be prepaired though! Thanks for the reminder!

MetalHorses....I love your reply! Indeeeeed! If a person were to buy a battle jacket off ebay and wear it straight off ebay, that wouldn't be unique at all, as you say. To buy it for the patches to rip off and add to your own jacket is something else.
Again, nicely put. I'd 5 flame your reply if I could!

Sometimes you must buy them to get some rare patches - i think thats a good job.
Phosphorous_Redeemer on
its better to make it yourself. I like the vest, too much norwegian black metal though
Terroristic-Ham... on
too much? haha
never to much
Phosphorous_Redeemer on
pssh. There are lots other places with other good black metal. Not to mention new norwegian black metal like tsjuder, vulture lord, krypt, etc and older obscure ones like kampfar and forgotten woods. though kampfar is on there. all side-ways.
Terroristic-Ham... on
don't forget finland sweden and germany!
anyway still you can never have too much NBM. NEVER!!!
but yeah therre is alot of other great locations!
Phosphorous_Redeemer on
Shit the list can go on and on, i just scored the latest archgoat and endstille cds. You dont need to be in the early 90s to hear good black metal. I've also recently discovered sarcofago, drowning the light, black witchery, the black and mutiilation. who else has discovered any good black metal bands for the first time, old or new?
braydon on
High regards for the job done on the jacket but it would be too personal to me to sell it. Definetely an attempt at just getting money. And unlikely that you will listen to all the bands. Be proud of your jacket and adorn with the blackest pride!
xSquiggs on
This dude runs a metal shop. He'll custom them with any patches that he has. BUT I agree, I'd rather take time to track down patches that I like and do it myself. Still pretty fuckin cool.

Noone seems to realize this but this seller works for metaldevastation.com - they sell all this stuff, usually not vests like this, i don't think any self respecting metal fan would buy a premade battle jacket, its just no fun. I would however probably buy the jacket itself though it looks pretty nice, i'd prefer to buy all my own patches on it though.
syske on
Nice jacket, but so stupid that people want to buy this online. A jacket is something personal!
