My grandfather's U.S. army jacket, not finished but definitely much more complete. A muslim threatened to call the cops on me for wearing it during lunch at work. Fuck Allah.
On one hand, this looks really great, I don't even think I saw the fist upload. On the other hand, I couldn't bring myself to cover an official army jacket with metal band patches...
I'm sure though, if it was given to you, you have your reasons and it still has great importance on a emotional and human level...I suppose it's better to have a use for it, than to let it collect dust, that would be a waste...but let me say, this kind of move is something I think you have to have balls for.
That being said, a side question, if it doesn't breach to much privacy, what war or conflict was your grandfather in? My grandfather was in The Second World War and handed down a few items to my family, some pins, photos, etc but not a jacket! Was this a jacket like a dress/casual uniform, or was it combat ready, it's in good condition....either way a very interesting piece of clothing and some equally great "war" like black metal patches.
Speaking of which, hand over the Black Witchery patch and no one get's hurt!(which translates to- Where did you get the Black Witchery patch, NWN?)
I could never have worn something like that at the last place I worked, but even so well...as for the Muslim who said what he did and my opinion, well, let's just say If I wrote out what I fully thought, I might get banned or flagged from the website!
My grandfather was in Vietnam and Korean war, served in the USAF. My great gandfather was in WWII. Ill have to go to my vault and put some of the pictures he took on here. My grandfather wore the jacket in battle.
The black witchery patch is from a trade, probably bootlegged, but i have an official one if your interested.
Thanks for the comment
His reason was that i was staring at him rudely and because of the way i was dressed (in my work uniform, wearing this jacket) the cops would arrest me. I didnt know he was muslim at first, he spoke perfect english and looked mexican.
Thank you, i appreciate your support! Dark Funeral is one of the bands i first listened to in extreme metal, I know they've become very popular and lost alot of respect from the underground metal crowd, but i will support them til death. Cof, is a different story, haha...
Wow man, this is one of the coolest jackets I've seen, if not the coolest. The story of your grandfather is also awesome. I like the patches and the big back part with the multiple BPs. 5/5

Ha, shoulda let him call the cops...it's not a crime to wear a jacket! Maybe they woulda arrested him for wasting their time.
