For sale is my original Jofama jacket from the late 70s. The print on the tag is partially worn away, but you can still make out the Jofama AB logo. It's a size 38, but is cropped and about an inch or two shorter in the body than similar motorcycle jackets. The leather is in excellent condition, especially considering it's age. Very soft and comfortable. No rips in the liner, all of the zippers and snaps work.
The jacket is a bit too short on me, since I'm fairly tall, which is why I'm selling. Price is $230 USD + shipping.
Measurements:
Length from bottom of collar to bottom: 22.5 inches (57.2 cm) (back is about an inch shorter)
Length from armpit to armpit: 20 inches (51 cm)
Length from shoulder to shoulder: 15 inches (38 cm)
Sleeve length: 24.5 inches (62.2cm)

The plight of vintage leather jackets, they're short as fuck unless you're well under 6'...

Yeah, I'm 6' and could use another inch or two in the body. The arms and width are ok on me though. This would probably fit well on someone 5'10" or shorter.

so none of the swedish jackets are good for people over 6ft...?

Old leather jackets in general tends to be shorter in length, for a lot of them that's just the style. I've had a couple old jackets from the US that were too short for me as well - I prefer just to buy new ones since longer tops are more common now.

can you suggest any brands or shops that have jackets in the 'classic' look. US stores are fine as long as they ship international

Straight To Hell is a good choice from the USA. Not sure what their shipping policies are though...
