Age of Winters is still my favorite. Warp Riders is widely considered their best album but AoW had such a heavier doomier sound. I miss it

Great band. Seems like that get way more shit than they deserve. Sure, they may not be the most original bunch out there. But still great, easy listened music.

I got the impression that they where one of the bands that where "cool to hate" when Age of Winters was new. Never got why though, they've always seemed pretty inoffensive to me.

Awesome! I have three out of four CD's (still need Gods of the Earth like you), and I have only Warp Riders on vinyl. Working on getting the other three on vinyl.

That AoW was actually my first vinyl. My buddy gave me it for my birthday and that got me collecting. I don't have a player, but even if I did they look so nice I'd hate to scratch em haha
