I don't know why everybody (including Dave) keeps shitting on this album. It isn't that bad. Luckily through all the bad publicity I also picked up a copy for a steal. Cryptic Writings is even better than this one and also vastly underrated. So many great songs on CW: The Disintegrators, She-Wolf, Use The Man to name the best. When I first heard Moto-Psycho from The World Needs A Hero which is considered their comeback album I had to repress a little vomit though, so it's strange how people's opinions vary.

"Isn't that bad" isn't good enough when you've written Rust in Peace.
Yes, ok, but they can' t all be shere masterpieces. Not even Iron Maiden can do this. It's still better than a lot of hyped albums out there like most new thrash.
Just because they wrote something a lot better doesn't disqualify this from being okay. It's still a lot better than 99% of modern metal albums in my honest opinion

99% of "modern metal" albums are absolute stinking dogshit. Just because this is better doesn't mean it's ok.
Personally, I think it's great. I think it was cool they did something different rather than make Rust in Peace for a second time. It's a mixed bag, but I think the album does have its choice cuts
I personally like the album a lot. Then again, I like St Anger and the Tim Ripper Owen years of Judas Priest, so maybe I don't have the greatest taste lol
Shame they don't play any of the stuff from Jugulator live. Rob said they'd play stuff from it on the comeback tour, but of course they didn't. Would've kicked ass to see Halford belt out shit from it!
Absolutely! I saw them live with Tim Owens once, that was awesome, but I was too busy like everybody else missing Halford that I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest. In hindsight I was wrong. But boy did he have some big shoes to fill! Would also be nice if they played some of Rob's solo shit, because that was also fucking awesome (except for Two;-))

Ripper with Judas Priest rocked! Jugulator can make grind meat out of Nostradamus any day imho!
