Leather Nunn was an AWESOME heavy metal band from the US. They released a full length, in '86, called: Take the Night. Sadly enough, they passed away in a car accident after a tour.
Ultra rare, limited to 1,000 copies CD.
Agreed! Too bad they couldn't make more albums, they would have become a very famous band, I'm sure of it!
Not a lot of people know them to be honest, too bad, really!
First press would be hard to find and the price would elevate pretty high. So yeah, hopefully you can find the re-release on vinyl for a more reasonable price. But I think the re-issue was pretty limited as well.
I've read this article that they sold the (original) vinyl (I presume) on ebay for 915 dollars.
I had this CD for only 10 euros from a close friend. If I ever do decide to sell it, I think I could make some money ;)
hahahaha wait 10 years and you will see! yes it happens the same as let's say Salems Wych, private pressings are a pain in the ass. The vinyl reissue is greek and was sold as a boxed-set as well, is a long way on a collectors path ;)
Yeah, having patience rewards!
Oh man, you know Salem's Wych too? Betrayer of Kings is OVER THE TOP! Same with Warriors of the Night by this band called X-Caliber. If you want a copy you need to dig deep in your wallet. Poor collectors, haha.
hahahah I will have to sell a kidney or something to get that fucker, but in comparation with Leather Nunn this one is easyer to find. Betrayer of Kings is pure gold, just heard that one and wow! About X-Caliber I've heard them but not that much, great album never the less
All the members of Leather Nunn are very much alive and living great lives. Not sure who put up the information of their passing on metal-archives. As a matter of fact I'm extremely well connected with Wade Williams, the vocalist.

It's a brilliant album, still have to find it though... I've noticed a lot of their music reminds me of Anvil.
