Shortly after starting my collection with The Gray Chapter I came across the album (Iowa) I thought would take me the longest to get for only £60. It had just been my birthday so I had birthday money and figured I have to snatch this and I'm glad I did so.
My favourite is Vol.3 because was the very first album I owned physical I worked my ass off to get it! But People = Shit off yours truly was the very first song I heard back in the day and will always remain my favourite song however.
Vol 3 used to be my favourite because the first song I heard was Before I Forget and my favourite song (The Nameless) is on there, however I personally think Iowa is the best Slipknot album - making it my favourite.
Strange to think back in 2004 I would of been five haha, but I agree I started out listening to the softer Slipknot - songs like Before I Forget and Duality but then discovered Iowa and loved it
I think "my first" so to speak was "Me Inside" and it just blew me away at the time. Before that I was mostly into classic bands like DIo, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest and the like. And I didn't even know it was possible to create something this spiteful and schizophrenic. Everything about that song was just so different from everything else I've heard until that point. So of course I wen't out and bought the first album I could find, witch was this one, and listened the hell out of it.
I listen to so many different genres it ain't funny, If you're into the core genres you'd enjoy most of what one of my co-hosts on the radio plays, I do like some of them myself but not as in depth as others I am into.

Used to listen to this album all the time back in 2004/5. Really a milestone in the development of my musical taste.
Looks like a really nice edition.

Great track!
When I got into Slipknot I was mainly listening to Classic Rock, Pop, and Punk-Rock.
A three to four piece band making an album compared to nine guys your bound to get something different and this album shows it!

I listen to way more hardcore than metal, but Slipknot were one of the first bands I listened to, first song of theirs I heard was Before I Forget
