Iced Earth - The Glorious Burden

Quite a controversial album, or "controversial" might be the wrong word. But judging from reviews this seems like one of those albums you either love or hate. Personally, I think it's quite solid. Sure the imagery gets a bit cringeworthy at times. Just look in the foldout where they have a proud bald eagle shedding a single tear over a silhouette of the WTC. Not to piss on a tragedy, but subtlety anyone? And yes, this album gets melodramatic as hell at times. But it's Iced Earth we're talking about. melodrama is kind of their thing. So yeah, I can see why people don't like this one. But I still find it to be a worthwhile listen every now and then.
