Graveyard - The Sea Grave ( Tape )
Released on Terror From Hell Records ( TFH36 )
Includes a sticker ( Cover Motif )
( This is the DEATH METAL Band )
Actually I don' collect tapes ... just wanted this one to complete my Graveyard collection
It really is ... you're right. And it was a cheap one :)
I only have a small tape player ( looks more like a walkman ), that has to be plugged at a pc/laptop to work.
Maybe if I had a good and normal player ... maybe I would collect some tapes.
Ok ... that's really old schoolish hehe ... I though they only release demos on CD or vinyl, but also on tape. Hm ... I think I have to think the whole tape thing over ahhhh ... and again something to spend money on ... damn, why have you said that hahaha
as CD were new..and CDBurner came very cheap - Demos were only available on CD..all stoped makeing tapes (or at least 99% of all bands)..and now..since 2-3 Years - Bands go back to the roots and start to release Their Demos on Tape..again :D
old school thing - thats it :) and to have something 'Exclusive' ..because nearly no1 have a tape-player at home anymore etc. Its for old-school and beeing different then the mainstream :) - IMO :)
Buying tapes is really something very different from the mainstream ... that's true. It would be really interesting how many of the buyers got a tape player. I only bought that tape for my collection, I'm not sure if I will ever play it in that little player I got ( to afraid it will be destroyed hahaha ... " Bandsalat " hahaha ... only a few know the link between a pencil and tape haha )
for me..i can say: i lost my tape-player 2 years ago...while moving from Apartment A to Apartment B. The whole Hi-Fi-Tower broke. So i had to buy a new one. The new stuff was pretty expensive. So i was skipping the Tape-section for the moment (bought it last year) ..but will buy 1 this year now :) ..and btw. My old Tape-player didnt 'eat' any tape...in around 20 years. I think..its all about the quality of the player (maybe)
It definitively is ... the same as with a record player and especially the needle. Cheap needles always can really sound crappy.Sometimes you have to put some moey in equipment haha.
yeah...for music-equipment u dont should safe to much money. its not needed to buy a 2000 euro Record/Tape player..but maybe a bit more then 50m euro would be good..haha
