Testament Birds of a Feather!

MetaDeth729
Fri, 15/05/2015 - 22:26

German (left) and American (right) versions of Legacy: Demo 1. Essentially these tapes are pretty much the same but if you look at certain details, (cassette insert, J-card, etc), the quality is much better on the German version. Also, the German release features the sticker for Alexandra Dorre's address; he was the president of Legacy's Europe based fan club.
Lineup - Alex Skolnik, Eric Peterson, Greg Christian, Steve (Zetro) Souza, and Mike Ronchette

There are actually some subtle differences here and there. If you look at the overall quality of the German tape, insert included, it's like night and day compared to the American version. You can tell that the German release was printed with greater care and made to look a lot more presentable than the American version. Also, on the tape itself, the halves on the German release are held together using flat-head screws while the American release has Philips screws holding it together. From what I understand, the sound quality is also better; true, these really are minor differences.
