SCORPIONS 1980s Poker cast pewter pin
SCORPIONS Poker cast pewter pin (early 1980s).
It's in pristine condition apart from the original butterfly pin (one of the wings is broken - see pictures).
This one is a keeper, I love it up to the 2 little dots which were added in the eyes, and which give the scorp a squint look. :)
It's one of the early Alchemy (Poker) releases, with the reference still hand-carved on the back (POKER R.28). Those early productions were badly if not not at all documented as far as I know (see https://www.alchemyengland.com/site/index.php/2019/04/alchemys-branding-...), so dating is not easy. Judging by the logo, I'd go for a wider 1980-1984 date as it was at least used from the Animal Magnetism to the Love At First Sting era.
