😱😱 Hell Yeah! 🀘😫🀘 I got my hands on this very rare back patch. The one is in mint condition and so incredibly hard to find. The 1993 back patches seem be out there in little quantities and there fore I'm extra excited to have added this rare gem πŸ’Ž to my collection.Still the hunt for the red version continues 😏

What a nice find, I love both versions. Good luck on your hunt for the other version.

Thanks buddy! I was lucky to bump into it. Was not specifically searching for it. I also like both versions. Probably when putting them side by side I will be able to pick a favorite. Hopefully that will be soon 😁

Great score on this one and in mint condition! Interestingly this is the first and only Maiden back patch that I have found for a reasonable price - although mine isn't in such wonderful condition πŸ˜… Good luck with the search for the other version, and I must say your collection is fantastic 🀘

Thank you very much for the compliment on my collection 🀘😊🀘
Hunting down certain back patches is quite a challenge, especially these 1993 Maiden back patches. To then also have them in mint condition is the cherry on the pie.

You're welcome, there are some beauties in there! How on earth will you decide what gets pride of place on the jacket?! 😱
Absolutely, this patch in this colourway and the Real Dead One Radio Hell design are the only two I've seen recently - and the Real Dead One went for Β£82! Mint is something special, it must feel fantastic when that parcel arrives.

I have quite some patches for trade and if after months having them for trade but no (good) offers I decide to put them on a jacket. I only put patches I already have in my collection onto vests. No collection piece will go on it.
Also, since I'm a huge Maiden fan all my jackets and vests have Maiden back patches. I generally only use used ones. Then I feel a bit less bad using these beauties πŸ˜…

The Real Live Dead One and Real Live One or not the most favorite designs of people I thing, so those you can still pick up for a good price. It are the classic 80's designs that go for somewhat higher prices.

Every patch that arrives is a special day for me πŸ˜… I simply love vintage back patches. They are just so increadibly awesome. Especially the collection pieces because those really add to my existing collection.

Ah I see, I don't have the funds for building a collection like that, so I just try to score a few nice pieces for jackets that I will wear carefully haha... It sounds like you have a good system that gives you some of the best of both worlds, although being a Maiden collector isn't cheap, and it's definitely the right idea to protect those special pieces 😎

Yes I can imagine, my favourite Maiden album is Somewhere in Time but I certainly can’t afford a Stranger in a Strange Land or Somewhere on Tour back patch πŸ™€

That’s a feeling I can get behind, I’m always excited to receive a patch and especially when it’s something I’ve been really wanting or a shock rare find 🀘 Good luck with continuing your collection and I hope you get that special day feeling many more times!

You are right that being a Maiden collector is not cheap, however, for me personally it's worth it. Collecting them is a real hobby for me. I like the hunting, negotiating trades, meanwhile talking metal, and eventually getting the patch in house and uploading it here on TSS.

Somewhere in Time is awesome, especially the back patch. It is such a colorful one. Stranger in a Strange Land and Somewhere on Tour are just very hard to get. Also took me a long time to land those two.

Thanks for the good luck wishes. This week was another good week πŸ˜‰and soon you will see why 😁

That's what counts in the end, the fulfillment and the passion! Getting to talk metal with other folks is a definite positive, and of course getting the piece in your hands a winner 🀘

Yes I saw those on your profile and they look stunning, they must have felt like great pay offs for your efforts!

Ooh, how exciting, I'll keep my eyes peeled πŸ‘€
