Visited Baroeg Open Air and bought some new patches.
I know that Slayer album is everyone's favorite, but I thought it would go nicely with my jacket with white/gold colored patches.
Personally I've always liked the art of Diabolus in Musica, and it's far from as horrendous as people make it out to be. It might not be the bands most shining moment, but it's not unlistenable by any stretch.
Yes, it's not as bad as some say it is, and I've listened to it quite a bit around the time.
And the artwork is something different, but still manages to make quite a haunting image.
I can see why people dislike it. The nu-metal/rap flirting gets a bit tiresome before long. But for what it is it's a pretty interesting zeitgeist of a band going through somewhat of an identity-crisis. Stuck between old school thrash and modern metal, not really excelling at any of them at this point. But when it's good, it's pretty enjoyable, and I find some tracks to be pretty solid on their own. Even when not taken in the "This is where Slayer was in the late 90's-context".
It isn't as if it's not easy to find another similarly coloured Slayer patch.

Most of them have red in it, I think.
