Scored these old 90's Carhartt work pants in the free-bin at a spot called Second Gear here in Asheville, NC a couple years ago (2016?).
Too short, so they got the cut-off treatment.
The skeleton paint-job was done with leftover latex housepaint from the Habitat re-store. They "don't take paint" so there is always free paint cans sitting on their loading dock.
Not much rhyme or reason here, these have kind of become a catch-all for old patches that hadn't found a home or got picked up at shows here in town.
They're a perpetual work in progress. Basically just a reason to stitch something when my hands get antsy.
Non-band patches:
"Hand, Rose, Barbed Wire" & "Knife Chain" - My friend Martzia in Minneapolis makes rad shit under the name "Pretty Hard".
"Fat Tire Hot Lips" - From a party at New Belgium Brewing where they mixed three different beers in a pint glass and you had to guess what three beers & in what ratio they'd been mixed.
