This might be one of the most, if not THE most precious music related memorabilia I own ❤️‍🩹.

I’ve started listening to / discovering memphis rap through horrorcore around the age of 14 / 15 which is half of my life ago now. Yesterday, Tommy Wright III, La Chat and Dj Spanish Fly (which are all three musicians I really love and look up to) performed in Paris in an event organized by friends. I never thought I would ever get the chance see most of them live or at least I never imagined I would see them in France ! It was their first time performing here and such an intense and legendary moment. La Chat was incredible and payed tribute to Gangsta Boo ❤️‍🩹, Tommy Wright III made everyone go crazy and Dj Spanish Fly was so moving and very generous throughout his whole set, he shared many stories of his life, his music, told us about how his father being a pastor and him spending so much of his childhood in church influenced his music and his love for repetitive sounds, he kept saying I love you and thank you to the public and even shed some tears at the end… I am forever grateful for participating in this moment, and for these artists to feel as loved & celebrated as they deserve and for them to realize how big of an impact they have abroad / on the WORLD.

I had the chance to have a chat with Tommy at the end of the show, as he was happily surprised to see someone IN FRANCE wearing some of his older merch which earned my a « Oh we’re family! » and a really sweet exchange, I had bought the shirt I was wearing years ago to some guy I used to follow on tumblr, way before imagining this moment could even happen…
Anyway, not gonna comment on what he signed but YEH 🤓🤘
