Thu, 13/08/2015 - 00:19I went to go see the mighty High on Fire last night alongside Pallbearer, Lucifer, and Venomous Maximus. As usual, High on Fire gave an electrifying performance. I'll post actionshots later. For now, here's 3 of Matt Pike's guitar picks. One was actually used by him that night and the other two were given to me by a roadie.

Props for catching one that he used, he only threw ONE when I saw High On Fire and people fought over it like animals. Did he throw many the night you got this one?

He threw a couple. Lol funny cuz I found this on the floor shortly after he threw it. Everyone went for it but nobody got it so I'm just standing near the side of the pit and I look down all of a sudden for some reason and there it is. So real casually I just pick it up and put it in my pocket haha. Funny cuz something similar happened last year. I saw Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel at a tiny club and in the middle of a song he stuck his hand out (with the pick in between his fingers) and everyone went for him. I grabbed the pick from between his fingers and nobody noticed!

That's awesome dude! It's so cool that you just grabbed it from his hand, that makes it that much more special for you. You got lucky finding that pick on the ground, that is where I got my Ghost pick and my Robb Flynn pick.
