Thanks always man ! My final Exodus entry. Love this album as well. I might ad on the ' Impact is Imminent ' promo, we'll see. I do like the other Exodus albums, but not enough to warrant creating a post. Oh well.
Happy New Year man! I hope you're doing well! I've been absent from both TSS and collecting in general but now I'm back again.
Anyways, it's all about those first four albums so I completely agree! I've finally found that Fabulous Disaster flat which now completes the collection (as far as promo flats go). Force of Habit is not really mandatory but I possibly might get just to make my Exodus collection more complete. All that is needed now is that Pleasures of the Flesh promo and blue tour poster. The only one that is listed is the tour poster but it's upwards of $300 so no thanks. It can wait. In the last year, Impact is Imminent jumped up the ranking as possibly my third favorite Exodus albums, possibly second favorite after Bonded by Blood, of course! Fabulous Disaster is inconsistent with the War and AC/DC covers (not a fan, especially Lowrider which is like the Chicano national anthem and really annoying to listen to - even the original). I'm first generation half-Mexican but I'm not a fan of Chicano culture which is a ghetto and bastardized version of Mexican culture.
Yo !!! Happy New Year my brother + thanks so much always !!! Same here man ! I've been in hiatus, although I've still found time to collect. I've been in workaholic mode for the past several months. Hopefully I'll upload some new entries by springtime. Most certainly this album is third on my list. Although ' Bonded ' will always be a classic, ' Pleasures ' is my favorite. Funny you mention the ' Low Rider ' cover, I usually skip that song when I listen to the album. I'd always wished they cover Deep Purple's ' Highway Star '. Steve's vocals would've been perfect & Gary would.ve shredded the solo. Nice you got your hands on the Flat. They're really hard to find. I was extremely fortunate to get that blue tour poster for dirt cheap. I thought it was lost in the mail. Otherwise I don't think I would fork over the $300. I have been known to spend a lot on certain items, but not for that poster.
Same here! I'm working a shit ton right now. I just transferred from within my company which is only ten minutes from my house. I don't have to commute an hour away or start at 3 AM anymore!
Bonded By Blood will always be my favorite as it is for most. I always loved Metal Church's cover of that song but Steve's vocals would sound cool too! Yeah, it took me a couple of years to finally get that flat. Now I need to get those Nuclear Assault flats for Survive and Handle With Care I wouldn't spend that kind of money on that Exodus poster either. Patience is a virute! I'll just have to wait until it pops up.
