Holy Shit! I'm in complete Bay Area awe over this collection! It definitely takes me back. I remember seeing Death Angel at the Mabuhay in 1984 with Possessed. There was only 30 people at the show and I think some glam band was upstairs at the Rock on Broadway. Everyone screamed out a host of obscenities for them despite the fact that they could'nt hear it! I also gave a friend of mine a concussion that night. It was just he and I in the pit; (during Possessed I believe), he came clockwise towards me and I looked up just in time to clonk his head! My friends said they heard our heads hit over the music! Good times! To this day, I still see Death Angel every chance I get!

Thanks so much man !!! Always happy to share and bring back memories. Really appreciate it. Nice story you threw out there. You lucky dog to see that ' 84 show. Death Angel must have looked like elementary school kids. To see Possessed pre ' Seven Churches ' is the top of the pyramid ! Damn ! That's a war story from the PIT ! Lucky you didn't sustain permanent damage. I look back and say I don't know how we all survived those years. The PITS were sick back then. Here in NYC you never went in the PIT when Slayer played. Thrash on !!!!

Damn man, another exhaustive deep dive into a band's press paper trail. I wasn't a fan but you know, having the same sickness I can still thoroughly enjoy! Love seeing the magazine posters especially. I certainly appreciate and understand all the immense effort that goes into a post like this. Trying to track down every inch of press , it's an obssession!

Man ! Thanks so much always ! I wanted to post this one for a while. I can certainly attest that you are cut from the same mold. For you too are in the film lab cutting and splicing to create your magnum opus ! We wouldn't do it any other way. Yeah, you're too kind when you say it's an obsession. More like the brink of madness !!!!

I never knew that this poster existed! Not my favorite Bay Area band but I do give them credit for being one of the first thrash bands outside of the big 4 to open the gate to the underground. The same goes with the first Testament album. This is their best album!

Thanks always brother ! Was happy to get this one after years of wondering. A sizzling debut for such a young group. I really thrashed out to this one when it was released. Hard to imagine it's over 30 years.
