Somehow I've never seen a single Bathory tape anywhere. This album is THE ALBUM of Black Metal to me.

Yeah I don't know. May be that I've never even searched for Bathory tapes. The first 3 Bathory albums really made an impact and got me into black metal.

I'm more a vinyl-person, and I prefer to get Bathory stuff on vinyl first. Then, for collecting purposes tapes and cd's. Quorthon's solo stuff isn't special, but he has some good songs.
