Wow, that must be rare? You have lots of GREAT stuff. This 'cash-in but still cool' compilation album - and vol 2 - were advertised on UK TV and on crappy old K-tel records!

I agree, just having an old badge or patch in your hands is nostalgic and still pretty cool.
I am a designer myself and enjoy the aesthetics of late 1970s and early 1980s metal memorabilia. I play around with poster designs - posted some on my page here - and try to use a style redolent of the old music press adverts as the basis for them.
