So far so good, had a bit of trouble stitching the Mayhem patch onto that spot but was able to in the end. I've got a Bathory and Dio patches waiting to be sown on, just gotta find where I'd place it. I'm still debating whether or not to cut off the sleeves to make it a vest since there would be more room to place more patches, but I'll see when I get further into the game. I'll be updating its progress every time I place a new patch.

Update: decided to remove the three patches and pins on this jacket and move them onto my vest. However, I did leave the custom sodom patch on it as I think it is still one of my favorite additions to the jacket!

Hey dude, I LOVE your DIY backpatch made from a shirt and sprayed with bleach
Plz don´t cut any edges, sew the next patches over the bp
I made some bleaching projects so this is really cool

Thanks man! I thought the bleaching the shirt would make it seem like it was on fire, plus black tees bleach orange so even better! I wasn't planning on cutting the edges off but probably make then a bit shorter so I can fit patches around. I'm going to also burn the loose bottom part of the back patch so it too gives off a in flames look. I just need to get my hands on a sewing machine so that I can further adjust the back patch.
