Really wanted the original/2nd gen bootleg and settled with this. Chains are glitter thread, the border and lettering are thinner, and the surface has a different texture.

The original patch was made by Heavy Metal Fanclub Velbert. But there is a second version; one ex member decided to reproduce it (around 2005/6) and sold it on eBay and MySpace. But only in a limited quantity.

The original is very difficult to obtain. So i decided to make my own bootleg of it with original measurements and proper border. Mine is the closest bootleg to the original.

I was thinking the design came from an hmfc patch, I just didn't know the full history. Thanks

this design looks always neat.
if the material was diagonal twill and border was merrowed it would look better in my opinion.
