What's the difference between kangaroo and goat leather? Looks absolutely amazing Kimo. Always loved the Not guy, have always wondered if he's got a name..

The goat leather is a lot softer and tends to stretch a bit and distort like material which makes it harder to cut out finer details. I usually use goat or lamb leather for the black background and leave a thin border around the patch which i sew trough when putting on a jacket.
I use the kangaroo leather to cut out all the detailed pieces for the patch because when you first get it is like a piece of 1mm cardboard. I can cut out very precise shapes and details and it softens up a bit after you work it a bit.
