What a great vest! I don’t quite understand, though, why you’ve covered up the Heavy Load and Bolt Thrower patches with- I think this term is more than only PTP patches. It's more like style of "layouts" of vests.

My jacket used to be very heavy, then I changed the layout, added a lot more patches and buttons since then but it's light as a feather. Beyond me, and if it says anything, Frankie Bello from Anthrax said I had the heaviest jacket he's ever seen when signing it at a bass clinic before I had changed the layout. The next day, I had a meet and greet for the whole band, and he told Joey Belladonna how the thing was heavy as hell, remembering it being that bad haha. Now I'm rambling, but I guess it all depends on how its done up. And really love the Blind Guardian patch too, and have never seen that Orchid patch before :p

my jacket is pretty heavy too. i don't really notice it myself. only notice my other jackets are lighter when i wear those (less often). but this one time my friend picked up my jacket and was pretty spurised about the weight.. that was the first time i really realized and started paying attention to it.

I realised when I got into a fight wearing mine. Then when I had to sew it up to fix it from it tearing. So I removed the top pockets, and the lower waist part that ran around the bottom of the vest.
