I was actually introduced to both bands by a friend that lives in the Netherlands. Over time I've managed to score some good stuff from both of them - I have multiple shirts, vinyl test pressings, cassettes, posters, etc. Richard from Ortega is also in Suffering Quota and runs a cassette-only label that does some beautiful exclusives. Suffering Quota is a grind band right? wouln't have thought that he played in such a band. also know Tantarus (got some tapes from there), but not that it was run by him.
do you know Starve? another great sludge band from the Netherlands. their Wasteland album is great.
