my old hoody, made with an antisect t-shirt that fell apart and attached to the front and a home made pisschrist patch.
Patched up whatever holes appeared in it, and the right arm is totally fucked with a pic of the extensive repair work (thats not even the half of it!) - mostly falling apart there from skateboard grip tape.
sadly i had to sell this beast because i needed the cash and it was just too heavy in my pack when i wasnt wearing it.
I do use very little money in general, most of my food is found in supermarket bins or elsewhere...
At the moment im selling some old clothes on here to make what little money i need, and before that living in and moving between squats means that everyone's on the same page financially and responsibilities like sourcing food and money was shared amongst the squat, even tobacco and beer was pretty much communal, you just put your share back in whenever and however you could and if anyone took the piss it'd get sorted. Some folk were good at timing bins and more up for walking around, others are expert shoplifters, some have a talent for making money some of us just cant grasp...
In most squats theres always at least one person who can play an instrument too, so i busked with other folk, not usually on my own (cos i play washboard and suck at guitar too much to play on my own). I was in a street band for a year, so that was pretty permanent income for a while, even if it did suck at times, it ruled at others.
Ok, thanks! This gave me a good perspective. So I should think more about socializing and cooperation, and practical skills like dumpster diving, than directly making money. This seems helpful, thank you.
Ah jealous! I only got into them a couple years after they played scotland and i missed them. Then i made friends with an australian who was part of their friend circle in melbourne and had seen them more times than she could count haha.

stenchcore massive on
only like 2 years haha. my clothes just look mummified cos when you wear stuff on the road/street/muddy ditch every day it gets all fucked up.
PForx on
Haha, 2 years unwashed isn't "only" 2 years...
Can I ask you a question about your vagrancy?
stenchcore massive on
Go for it dude.
PForx on
How do you make money? Do you work odd jobs, do you busk/spange...? I'm asking because I consider vagrancy a plausible option for me in the future.
