The spikes would leave more damage, if you're concerned about your shirt you can always add a dab of fabric glue over the stud prongs which will prevent scrapes and stop them from falling out
Thank you for the advice! Now that you make my think of it, I could actually glue some tiny pieces of fabric using fabric glue over the prongs, i just need to find some thin fabric!
Bent the point of the legs outside, back into your jacket. I always wear shirts (no T-shirts) and never got these damaged, even though they are less sturdy.
If you're using prong studs: use a fork to make indents in your fabric in a straight line, move the fork forward one mark at a time for maximum neatness, and to make it slightly easier to poke the studs in
Also, Reptil DIY on youtube made a video on how to add lining to a jacket after it's studded, it should slow down the process of studs rusting/falling out, and increase the jackets lifespan, hope this helps🤘🤘

two prong studs are my favorite. Sometimes they fall out but that looks cool, and they are probably lighter

Don't they end up damaging the t-shirt underneath the vest or scratching your skin?

And what about removing them.. which of the two leaves the biggest mark on the denim?
